The Founder

Dr. Pooja Vishwanathan

I am a Research Psychologist, specializing in ‘wellbeing’ and have earned memberships with the British Psychological Society (UK), Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (UK) and the Higher Education Academy (UK). I hold an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Psychological Science (majoring in Organisational Psychology) and shifted course for my Doctoral Studies, pursuing a PhD in Education (majoring in ‘Learner Wellbeing’) from the University of Warwick (UK). Having previously served as an Associate Tutor and Sessional Lecturer at the University of Warwick (UK) and holding Higher Education Teaching Qualifications from Warwick University (UK) and Harvard University (USA), I am passionate about integrating practice-based with research-based evidences to inform my teaching and scientific writings for psychological science and seek to propogate the significance of ‘evidence-based and outcome-driven’ mental health. I have been an avid contributor to ‘Gulf News’, one of the national newspapers in UAE, ‘Young Times’ – one of UAE’s leading magazines for young people and am an author of books such as ‘Employee Wellbeing: Contemporary Workplace Challenges and Evidence Based Interventions’ and ‘Contemporary Careers in Psychology’. My research interests include ‘Wellbeing’, ‘Grit’, ‘the Growth Mindset’ and ‘Purpose Building’ within Businesses and Education. I hope that ‘Reverve’ empowers you with the relevant knowledge and skills to better contribute to your study and career in psychological science.

Outside of work, I enjoy listening to and practicing Indian bollywood, classical and hindustani music. I was a member of Indian music societies, in UAE, India and in the UK and take a keen interest in celebrating my national music culture.
