Enhancing Quality of Psychological Health Care Research, Practice and Policy

‘Peak Performance’ and ‘Wellbeing’ Laboratory 

The objective of this laboratory is to investigate specific challenges which act as detrimental and factors that propel individuals to achieve ‘peak performance’ and sustain ‘psychological wellbeing’, within a range of different contexts (including schools and universities, sport and exercise settings, at work).

By analysing psychological depleters and replenishers that influence ‘performance’ and mental health, scientists are able to better contribute individual and society wellbeing outcomes and quality of life.

This laboratory –

i) Conducts Scientific Investigations Which Examine Factors Influencing ‘Peak Performance’ and Specific Ways In Which Individuals and Societies Can Foster Wellbeing, Whilst Maximising Potential.

ii) Offers training/workshops sessions to schools and universities – It draws from research and practice based evidences, empowering young people to better manage high- intensity study routines, employ better strategies to enhance academic, relational and wellbeing outcomes.

iii) Offers training/workshop sessions to organisations – Enabling employees cope with high intensity work environments, achieve better work, familial and wellbeing outcomes.

iv) Offers young people research internships for a duration of 3 months (typically between the months of May – August) – Empowering budding psychologists with relevant psychological knowledge and skills to transition into the workplace. It hones individual skills in designing scientific posters, relevant to psychological health care and an opportunity to present and share scientific findings and innovations, with the larger community, during Reverve’s Annual events. Participants will earn a digital certificate, post completion.
